You have found the internet home of WRIV Radio 1390 AM ! WRIV is Eastern Long Island's first radio station and one of the longest established radio stations on Long Island. We're also one of the few remaining independently owned radio stations on Long Island.
WRIV is local radio that serves listeners in the Eastern Brookhaven Town and the Five East End Towns of Suffolk County. We also are heard in southern Connecticut.
We appeal to adults, 35 and older through a format that emphasises local news and information, high profile local personalities, the best music ever made and Long Island's only local daily news/talk morning show, "The Dawn Patrol". As you listen to us online, you're going to get a guided tour of Eastern Long Island with occasional stops around the world when we broadcast ABC News on the hour !
